There are many ways you can support Wallace House. You can make a monetary donation, donate clothes through our clothes bank, contribute other useful items such as food cans and toiletries that can be put to good use within our community larder or even drop off your old ink cartridges.
Whether you give your time, your belongings or a financial contribution, your generosity helps us continue our work and reach those who need us most.

Ways To Donate
There are many ways to support Wallace House, whether through a one-off donation, regular contributions, or donating items you no longer need. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and helps us continue supporting our local community.
💷 Money
Every penny makes a difference! Whether it’s 50p or £50, your donation contributes towards keeping Wallace House up and running and importantly allows us to make much needed improvements to our centre and the services we provide. We have donation pots within the centre, a card machine and a QR code leading straight to our donations page.
🖨️ Empty Ink Cartridges
Have some empty ink cartridges lying around and aren't sure what to do with them? We have the perfect solution! Wallace House has a Recycle4Charity collection box located just inside the front door of the centre, where you can drop off your empty ink cartridges and help us raise funds while recycling them responsibly.
👕 Clothes
Have clothes that you no longer need? We’re happy to accept them! Our clothes bank is located just through the black gates in our courtyard. Your unwanted clothes can be given a new lease of life while helping to support Wallace House and our community.
🥫 Tinned Food & Toiletries
We are always grateful for donations of tinned and non-perishable foods, as well as sealed toiletries. These donations help us keep our community food larder stocked and provide essential items to those who may need a little extra support.
Tombola Donations
We’re looking for donations of new and unused items to help make our tombola at Wallace House Community Centre a success! Donations could include chocolates, toiletries, gift sets, bottles, toys, household items or anything else that would make a great prize. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will help support our community activities.

🧰 Library of Things
We have recently launched our exciting new Library of Things project, which allows members of the public to borrow useful items for a fraction of the cost of buying them brand new.
We’re always looking to expand our collection, so donations of useful items such as DIY tools, household appliances, gardening equipment and other practical items would be hugely appreciated. Your donation could help someone access something they need without the expense of buying it themselves.
🌱 Our Community Garden
Our community garden is flourishing! We’ve recently been working hard to develop the garden, which is now producing fantastic home-grown produce for our community larder. It also provides an opportunity to teach young people about gardening, growing food and where the things we eat come from.
Keeping our garden thriving requires ongoing care and maintenance, so donations of gardening tools, compost, soil, plants, seeds and other gardening essentials would be hugely appreciated.

Fundraise for Wallace House

Whether you fancy taking part in a sponsored swim, run, walk, cycle, bake sale or another challenge, we would love to hear from you! You can choose your own challenge, set a fundraising target and ask friends, family, colleagues and your wider community to sponsor you.
Every pound raised through fundraising goes towards helping Wallace House continue to provide valuable services, activities and support to the local community, as well as helping us improve and develop our centre.
